What’s on offer? - Yoga and Mindfulness through nature and creativity - Space to check in on where you at and what you need to get through the exam period - An introduction to nature-based mindful activities that support your body's nervous system and encourages healthy sleep - Yoga and mindful movement - to create a positive relationship with your body, reduce stress, anxiety and release any negative feelings you might be carrying - Space to have fun, express yourself and get creative. You'll make your very own self-soothing box - a little take away tool that can support you wherever you go - Be guided on a 'wisdom walk' - a solo walk with a personal intention This is for you if…. Spending time in nature has an amazing impact on us - it helps bring clarity, simplicity, awaken our senses and helps us to live in the present moment 5. Walking in nature calms our busy mind, overthinking and negative thinking 6. She cares a lot about the adolescent stage of life, providing safe, non judgmental and creative spaces for youth. Nikki has worked for 20 years with young people in both formal and informal settings. She is a professional coach, wellbeing practitioner, teen yoga teacher and qualified Trauma & Mental Health Informed Schools Practitioner. She supports young people to prioritise their wellbeing and loves to provide a space for them to feel empowered to discover their passions, values and strengths. Nikki’s dedicated work with young people focuses on their life skills, teaching emotional wellbeing, inner and outer leadership and positive psychology. Hello I am Nikki! I care passionately about supporting young people in their adolescent stage of life to have good mental health and be able to thrive. What do I mean by 'being able to thrive'? To me this means; - Being holistically well (mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually) - Being your true and fullest self - Knowing how you contribute positively to your community and the world around you I do this by creating safe, non judgmental, creative spaces. I am a holistic wellbeing coach and practitioner and facilitator. I weave coaching, embodiment practices including yoga, mindful movement, mindfulness, creative portals, forest school and trauma informed practices into all the work that I do. I am one of the co-founders of The Visionaries. I have worked for 20 years with young people in both formal and informal settings as a coach, facilitator and wellbeing practitioner, I am trained teen yoga teacher, in training to be a forest school leader and qualified Trauma & Mental Health Informed Schools Practitioner. I support young people to prioritise their wellbeing and loves to provide a space for them to feel empowered as well as self discovery around their passions, values and strengths. My dedicated work with young people focuses on their life skills, teaching emotional wellbeing, inner and outer leadership and positive psychology.
